The main aim of GREIB is to develop a BioHealth strategic axis that will turn Granada into a leading research city. Therefore, an exchange of knowledge and enhancement of the economic and social development will be possible and Granada health care will become leader in the South of Europe. For that purpose, the Universidad de Granada (UGR) has committed to a strategic plan that gives priority to certain public and private institutions in Granada and its surroundings; it also expects to become an international centre of reference on BioHealth.
In order to achieve the above mentioned objective, five original action lines have been defined:
